Our Story
Tangerine & Teal is a family-run business founded by two sisters, Sacha and Vanessa, who share a passion for design, culture, and art. Growing up in New Zealand in the 1970s, surrounded by art and design, the sisters developed an eye for classic mid-century modern furniture. Sacha, based in Sydney, Australia, restores and sells items made by the mid-century Australian furniture makers, while Vanessa, based in Auckland, New Zealand, lovingly restores and trades mid-century pieces.
