Our Philosophy

At Weave Architecture, we believe that every good project requires input from multiple stakeholders, including the client, architect, builder, and tradespeople. We adopt a collaborative approach, ensuring that everyone's needs and contributions are considered. Our goal is to create spaces that not only meet but also exceed our clients' expectations.

Our Process

Our process begins with initial contact from a prospective client, followed by a visit to their home or project site. We discuss their dreams, plans, and needs, and prepare a fee proposal tailored to their project. Upon acceptance of the proposal, we proceed through the following stages:

1. Concept Design: We develop one or more concept designs based on the client's brief, working across a range of media to produce a final concept.

2. Developed Design: The design becomes more detailed, with a deeper understanding of the building to illustrate what the final building would be like.

3. Development Approval: We guide clients through the Council Development Approval process, preparing necessary plans, reports, and forms for submission to Council.

4. Building Approval: We assist clients in obtaining Building Approval from a Private Building Certifier, coordinating consultants and documents as needed.

5. Construction Documentation and Services: This phase ensures that all aspects of the project are accurately described and illustrated for construction, with options for assisting with tender and builder selection, contract administration, or being on call as needed.
