Established in Queensland in 1989, DPA Architects' philosophy is built upon offering practical, innovative design solutions tailored to each site and project. We believe in the importance of client participation in the design process. Our comprehensive architectural service encompasses development solutions addressing areas of environmental issues, planning, concept design, design development, interior design, finishes and materials, documentation, and contract administration. We strive to develop and design appropriate building forms that achieve user acceptability and marketability, with a distinctive architectural statement that responds to regional locations.

Our team, led by Darryl Parker, has over 20 years of experience in providing professional services across a diverse range of projects, including resorts, aquatic centers, office buildings, university buildings, commercial retail, conference facilities, wineries, and recreational facilities. We have a strong focus on multi-unit residential and single residential design, as well as commercial and retail projects, with a significant presence in the Gold Coast, Cairns, and Port Douglas.

Our office utilizes CAD workstations with experienced operators to provide efficient design development and interface with consultants, optimizing the construction documentation phase. We are committed to delivering exceptional services in areas such as preliminary feasibility studies, conceptual planning and design, design development, detailed technical aspects of constructions, contract documentation, and contract administration.

Darryl Parker, the Responsible Architect for DPA Architects, is a qualified architect with extensive experience in Western Australia and Queensland. He has undertaken a wide range of projects, including resorts, multi-unit residential, single residential, educational, office accommodation, a winery, and various commercial/retail projects.
