At ACT Horizontal & Directional Boring, we are a family-owned and operated company with over four decades of experience in the directional drilling industry. Our team, led by Dave Sturzaker and Paul Engel, is dedicated to providing top-notch services to our clients throughout the Australian Capital Territory (ACT) and New South Wales (NSW). HDD Services

Our HDD services include the installation of electrical, water, and gas utilities, as well as telecommunications and irrigation systems. We have the necessary equipment and expertise to drill under waterways, roadways, congested and environmentally sensitive areas, down to driveways, footpaths, and gardens.

Excavation Services

In addition to HDD services, we also offer a range of excavation services using our fleet of excavators ranging from 1.3 to 8 tons. Our excavators are capable of handling most excavation projects, including zero swing excavators suitable for restricted work sites. We also offer an extensive range of bucket sizes and attachments to suit different applications.

Our Fleet

Our HDD fleet is equipped with various types of Directional Drills, including All Terrain Direction Drills capable of handling small to large drilling tasks. Our fleet is designed to tackle even the toughest rock-based utility installations. We are proud to own machines such as the Ditch Witch JT8020, JT3020, JT1720, and JT10.
