At Michell Hodgetts Surveyors, we are a medium-sized Tasmanian private surveying consultancy that has been supporting Northern Tasmania, including Devonport, Launceston, Wynyard, and Smithton, since 2004. Our head office is located at 6 Barker Street, Devonport, and we have staff working on a number of projects throughout Northern Tasmania. Our team consists of 2 Registered Surveyors, 2 Graduate Surveyors, 2 Consultants, 3 Survey Technicians, 1 Draftsman, and 1 Office Administrator. We are committed to providing high-quality surveying and planning services to our clients, and our staff are trained in quality assurance and a strong emphasis is placed on Occupational Health and Safety in the working environment.

Our Services

We offer a wide range of surveying and planning services, including Subdivisions, Strata Title Surveys, Feature & Level Surveys, Dam Investigation & Volume Surveys, Boundary Identification & Remark Surveys, Engineering Surveys for large and small construction projects, and RTK GPS Survey. Our planning services include Preparation of Development Applications, Rezoning Applications, and Estate Development including subdivision layout and project management. We have been involved in various projects, including residential subdivisions, site engineering surveys for road construction projects, and more.

Survey staff are proficient in the use of the latest GPS and Total Station Measurement Technology backed by office staff using the latest versions of computer software technology for processing and plan presentation.
