Our History
Drillpower QLD has been operating within the drilling industry since 2001, starting as an owner-operator business drilling water bores. Over the years, we have steadily grown and expanded our services to include geotechnical, exploration, environmental monitoring drilling, and installation of instrumentation. In September 2010, we joined forces with SJ Drilling to offer a wider range of services, including an operations manager who is a qualified geotechnical engineer with extensive experience in planning and project management of geotechnical investigations.

Our drilling rigs and equipment are fully compliant to the highest standards of safety and efficiency, backed up by an Integrated Management System. With a focus on safety and quality throughout our operations, we have passed numerous client audits for work in the mining and construction sectors. Our staff are compliant with Coal Mining Safety and Health Act 1999 and the Coal Mining Safety and Health Regulation 2017, and have also obtained their Rail Industry Worker card for work in rail corridors.
Our Team
Our team of experienced and licensed drillers, supported by management directors with backgrounds in both drilling and geotechnical engineering, operate three drilling rigs with depth capacities of up to 400mtr. We offer project management services, site rehabilitation, site supervision, and associated site services, including the installation of piezometers, inclinometers, and extensometers, and the installation of monitoring standpipes of various diameters.
