Our Story
Rick and Val Venn founded Just Old Flooring in 1995, operating from their property in Research, Victoria. As the business grew, they moved to a rented factory in Preston in 2001 and eventually purchased a factory in Thomastown in 2006. After 19 years of dedicated service, Rick and Val handed over the reins to David Mergianos, a seasoned floor sander and installer with 22 years of experience.

Our Services
We specialize in sourcing unusual sized boards and helping our customers match their existing floors. We lift the floors, de-nail, dock, pack up in house-lots, and then sell on. Our reclaimed floorboards are in excellent condition, kept dry from the time they are lifted from old homes, and stored under cover in our factory. They are ready to relay, so need only be sanded and polished to have a perfectly beautiful recycled floor.
