Established in 1932, Hurford's has been perfecting the craft and technology behind our renowned products. Our journey began with modest operations, which have since grown to match and often surpass both Australian and international competitors. Today, we stand as a comprehensive industry leader, encompassing the full spectrum of timber production - from primary producer to manufacturer and wholesaler.

Our Services

We specialize in premium timber solutions, consistently ensuring that every product not only meets our rigorous internal standards but also aligns with the Australia Standards. Our products are meticulously manufactured according to the following Australian Standards: AS 1810: Timber - Seasoned Cypress Pine - Milled Products, AS 2082: Timber - Hardwood - Visually Stress Graded for Structural Purposes, and AS 2796.1: Timber - Hardwood - Sawn and Milled Products.

Our Commitment to Sustainability

Dedication to the native hardwood timber industry is at the heart of our business. The Hurford family is continually working to enhance sustainability practices, and we have purchased over 5,000 hectares of land and initiated a planting program that will see more than 25,000 new plantation eucalypt saplings established each year.
