Using the Finest Materials

Our passion for sustainability drives us to source the highest quality, eco-friendly materials imaginable. We utilise plantation-grown hoop pine plywood, known for its strength and durability, as well as the versatile and fast-growing bamboo. Our commitment to responsible sourcing extends to our use of recycled timber veneers, giving new life to salvaged wood and minimising environmental impact. Concrete, with its inherent strength and modern aesthetic, adds another dimension to our material palette, offering a unique textural and visual element to our creations.

Gino Monteleone, the heart and soul of Select Custom Joinery, brings over 30 years of experience to every project. He honed his skills in the traditional days of woodworking, where intricate detail and craftsmanship reigned supreme. Gino's expertise encompasses not only the artistry of woodworking but also the technical advancements of modern cabinetmaking, including computer-aided design (CAD). This blend of time-honoured techniques and contemporary tools allows us to create pieces that are both visually stunning and incredibly functional.

Working as a Team

Behind the scenes, Robyn Monteleone ensures the smooth running of the business. With a background in marketing and communications, she brings a wealth of experience to managing client relations, coordinating projects, and driving the company's marketing efforts. Together, Gino and Robyn form a dynamic duo, their complementary skills creating a perfect synergy that underpins the success of Select Custom Joinery.

Our skilled team, which also includes talented apprentices Craig, Tom and Griffin, shares a passion for creating exceptional furniture and joinery. We are a team of dedicated craftspeople, committed to delivering the highest quality work and exceeding our clients' expectations.
