Welcome to Smyth & Smyth, a leading architecture and interior design practice established in 2004. Our firm is recognised for delivering mid to high-end residential projects, from concept to completion. Founded by David and Lisa Smyth, our boutique practice has grown to include a team of five experienced designers who share a commitment to designing buildings that are timeless, functional, and environmentally friendly.

• Phase 2: Detailed Design for Planning Approval - We prepare detailed designs and documentation required for obtaining planning approval from local authorities.
• Phase 3: Design Documentation - Contract Documentation - We develop detailed construction drawings and specifications for tender and construction purposes.
• Phase 4: Interior Items Procurement - Construction Implementation - Contract Administration - We assist our clients in procuring interior items and managing the construction process through to completion, ensuring the project is built to our exacting standards.

Our People

At Smyth & Smyth, we believe that our people are our greatest asset. Our team includes:

• David Smyth - Director - A registered architect with over 40 years of professional experience, David has worked on a wide range of commercial and residential projects throughout Australia and South East Asia.
• Lisa Smyth - Director - Lisa holds a Bachelor of Design (Interiors) and has over 25 years of experience in the design industry. She has worked on a variety of commercial and residential projects throughout Australia and South East Asia.
• Nicola Lumsden - Associate - Nicola holds a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) and a Master of Architecture from the University of Westminster, London. She has over 7 years of experience designing and delivering private residential projects in London.
• Jason Yenson - Project Lead - Jason has over 9 years of experience in the architectural industry, specialising in high-end residential projects. He holds a Master of Architecture from the University of Sydney.
• Cody Verney - Project Lead - Cody holds a Bachelor of Design and a Master of Architecture from QUT. He has over 10 years of experience in the architectural industry, specialising in high-end residential projects.
• Emily Hollier - Senior Interior Designer - Emily is an experienced interior designer with a passion for creating captivating and functional spaces.
• Tilda Cook - Interior Designer - Tilda is an interior designer with a Diploma in Interior Design and Decoration. She has experience working on both residential and commercial projects in Australia.
