Creating Spaces That Inspire Joy & Hope
At WOWOWA, we pour JOY and HOPE into every project. Our practice thrives on designing vibrant, contemporary spaces that push the boundaries of environmental innovation while maintaining a playful sense of humour. We believe in creating spaces that are both liveable and lovable. Our work spans both residential and public realms, encompassing homes, interiors, schools, and community spaces. What unites these diverse projects is a signature "yummy resi DNA" - a focus on creating welcoming and comfortable environments that resonate deeply.
Our architecture draws inspiration from both the past and the present. We look to history for its architectural richness and timeless elegance, blending highbrow references with a nostalgia for authentic narratives. Yet, we are firmly rooted in the NOW, meticulously weaving the client's story into our designs. We explore their individual fancies, foibles, hopes, and happiness, capturing the essence of what makes them unique and infusing it into every element of the space.
When we talk about MEMORY or even SUSTAINABILITY, we transcend the mere adaptive reuse of materials or a stylistic homage. We reimagine and playfully restructure the familiar, breathing new life into old elements. We call it "story-in-place, " a celebration of history and heritage reinterpreted for contemporary living.
