Adenbrook, a building company, has been plagued with issues since delivering a new home to Stephen Zakhour in December 2018. The builder's project manager was difficult to contact, both during and after the build, raising concerns about professionalism. Multiple problems have surfaced, including a loose handrail on the stairs that took over six months to fix and patches of paint on the garage floor.
Inadequate Maintenance and Lack of Transparency
Despite being included in the maintenance list, the handrail issue was left unresolved for an extended period, putting safety at risk. When issues were brought up with Adenbrook, the response was inadequate, with the company claiming that the garage floor was clean and free of paint spills. The maintenance list was closed despite unresolved issues, leading Stephen to feel tired, exhausted, and frustrated.

Adenbrook's lack of professionalism, inability to address issues, and inadequate communication have led to a disappointing experience for Stephen. The company's actions have caused more stress and exhaustion than necessary, prompting Stephen to consider reporting the issues to Fair Trading.
