Initially based in the South-Eastern suburbs of Melbourne, Yellow Nest has recently relocated to Aberdeen, Scotland as of February 2022. Amy is an architect with a passion for warm textural materials, a touch of retro, and modern aesthetics. She is obsessed with clever use of small spaces and takes a holistic approach to design. Amy's extensive experience spans over two decades, working with various residential and commercial design companies before founding Yellow Nest in 2013.

Our Process

Our process begins with an initial consultation to understand your project, budget, and expectations. We then develop a design tailored to your specific needs, preferences, and budget, presenting floor plans, exterior elevations, and 3D views to help you visualise your future home.

Once the design is approved, we collaborate with specialist consultants to develop construction documentation, obtain building permits, and manage the construction process. We assist you in selecting your preferred builder and oversee construction, ensuring that the project adheres to design quality control, materials selections, and performance standards.
