About Peter Thane

Peter started his professional career in 1988 as an apprentice for a small landscaping company in Sydney, Australia. During this time, he gained qualifications in Stonemasonry, Bricklaying, and Paving, with some extensive experience gained in Horticulture. These three trade licenses he currently holds today. In 1992, he opened his landscape business as Peter Thane Landscapes, performing both hard and soft works for some of Sydney's most influential Landscape Designers and Architects.

In 1998, he enrolled in the Landscape Design Diploma course at The Ryde School of Horticulture, Sydney. He renamed his business to Beau Jardin Landscape Design, after the influences and his love of working in gardens in southern France. Peter Thane from Beau Jardin Landscape Design is an active member of AILDM, Australian Institute of Landscape Designers and Managers. AILDM is Australia's leading professional association for qualified landscape designers and management professionals. Peter is a registered Horticulturist RH 0155 and also a member of the Australian Institute of Horticulture and regularly attends seminars to stay up to date with what's going on in the Landscape industry.

Beau Jardin Landscape Design can design you a beautiful garden, swimming pool, decking or paved area, water features - basically anything to do with the outdoors. We can supply: Site plans, Concept drawings, Sectional elevation plans, Construction detail plans, Planting plans, Landscape specifications. All our plans are drawn using AutoCAD, design software which is used across the board in Architectural and Engineering industries.

We have the experience and work in with your local council to get your landscape project passed by council, be it either a swimming pool, decking area or pergola etc. Our team consists of Engineers, Structural Landscape Contractors, Horticulturists, Bricklayers, Carpenters, Stonemasons, , Electricians, Plumbers, and Excavator operators. We also offer contract administration - just to make sure the project is getting constructed to plan. For peace of mind, we're also fully insured. We service the full East Coast of Australia.

Shop

In our shop, we offer a range of products, including an authentic wood-fired pizza oven, Italian design. Constructed from fire bricks and fire clay, with a base made from concrete block and concrete, stainless steel flue, and an optional timber door. The internal dimensions are 1200 mm, not just for amazing pizzas, cook roasts whatever you like, works just like an internal oven in your kitchen, only wood-fired.
