Business Details
We established PETER WINKLER ARCHITECTS in 2005 after gaining experience in Melbourne and Surfcoast architectural offices. Our director, Peter Winkler, holds Honours degrees in Architecture and Environmental Engineering from Deakin University. We are a fourperson practice specialising in medium to highend residential, multiresidential and educational projects. We have delivered over 50 built projects since our inception across coastal, rural and urban environments. We integrate Ecologically Sustainable Design principles into every proposal, prioritising energyconscious solutions. We provide comprehensive services from feasibility studies and site analysis through to contract documentation and postconstruction administration.
Our expertise includes passive solar design, water harvesting, sound and electronic system incorporation, and specialist consultant coordination. We are registered architects with the Architects Accreditation Board of Victoria and New South Wales, and maintain active membership with the Australian Institute of Architects. We have over 15 years of practice, and our work is well regarded by councils and the community as site responsive and well considered. We translate client briefs and visions into finished physical forms through a collaborative, detailoriented design process. Our commitment to excellence ensures functional, aesthetically refined architecture that stands the test of time.
